Meditation is one of the most important aspects of my life. I found so much healing, centering, and personal growth when I began a daily personal practice. Every morning, I tune out the world and tune into myself. I feel more powerful, more focused, more open and more positive. Whether you believe it's your higher self you're connecting with or simply gaining a sense of control over the often-confused and scattered monkey mind, meditation is STRONG. It has the power to change our brains for the better, forever. Just check out some studies, you don't need to look far. Begin where you are; just a few minutes a day of creating a quiet space around and within you, when you aren't looking for anything else to occupy your mind, will be the perfect introduction.
